Kim Kieller
Kim has dedicated her career to making access to justice in Ontario available for all people and in particular, those in the midst of a family separation. Finding a just, fair and meaningful resolution for separating spouses and their children has always been her priority. In both mediation and litigation, Kim's goal is to minimize the stress and expense of the process, yet leave each party empowered in a positive way.
Kim was an early advocate of case management, a member of the joint committee on court reform, the working committee for family courts, the executive of the Family Law section of the Ontario Bar Association, and was recently nominated as a fellow of the International Association of Family Lawyers (and elected as “Best Lawyer in Canada” in her field of expertise in 2009 and 2010 by her peers).
Kim has been an advocate for and acted as a mediator since 1994 and is a member of the Ontario Association of Family Mediation (OAFM). As an arbitrator, Kim is trained in both generic and family law specific arbitration and is an accredited Parenting Coordinator. She acts as a Designated Resolution Officer for the Family Court, appointed by the Attorney General of Ontario
Kim is married and the mother of two boys. She gives back to the community through her involvement in many charitable organizations. Kim enjoys yoga and skiing, a road biking enthusiast, she completed her first triathalon in 2010.
